Reading Religion Newsletter Vol. 8, issue 5

Dear Reading Religion Subscribers,

Welcome to the June Reading Religion newsletter, your go-to source for the latest published reviews and books available to review in religious studies and related fields.

As  a scholarly society dedicated to the academic study of religion, the American Academy of Religion recognizes the importance of diverse voices in the study of religion. That’s why we have established the monthly Reading Religion Reading List, where we showcase carefully selected reviewed and available books that explore various themes and subjects.

In honor of Pride Month, we have put together a collection of works that highlight LGBTQ+ identities, critiques, theologies, and perspectives.

We invite you to dive into our Pride Month Reading List, check out the selected reviews, and request to review an available book.

Also, be sure to read our reviews published in May, and see the books available for review that we recently added to our website. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter to see the latest RR news.

If you know of any titles, published since January 1, 2020, that we should include on our website, please send us an email and let us know. Don’t forget to include the author(s) or editor(s), full title, and ISBN-13.

Happy Pride Month and happy reading!

Warm regards,
Kimberly Davis
