We are thrilled to share the news that the American Academy of Religion (AAR) has selected Dr. Claudia Schippert to serve as our next executive director. Dr. Schippert, an associate professor of humanities and religious studies at the University of Central Florida, will take the helm from Dr. Alice Hunt, who led the AAR for five years. Dr. Schippert will officially assume her role on August 1. (Reading Religion is a publication of the AAR.)
